2021.10.19 04:34 chanoramicview Decorating a One Piece Nursery
My wife and I are expecting our first baby in May and the only thing I absolutely must have is some One Piece decor (Gotta start em early). We're in a rental, so painting a wall won't work for now, but if anyone has any suggestions on where I can get some good One Piece nursery decor or just any suggestions of what I should put up, I'd really appreciate it.

2021.10.19 04:34 survivorbymilk I relapsed...for the (figuratively) millionth time
Hey everyone, I have a crippling internet addiction, specifically youtube. I've had this for the last 5+ years. Incidentally, I'm a 22 year old medical student too and I have a big exam next week.
I'm posting this after relapsing again after my latest attempt at trying to escape my addiction. It's like, I can survive a day but the moment I reach 2 days, my need for my craving just becomes unbearable and the easy access to the internet doesn't help. I don't think I can trust my parents to help me out instead of judging me either (though it may just be me afraid of their judgement).
I guess I'm writing cause I know that I really can't live like this. Not anymore. I don't know how to keep trying when every attempt I make fails. I guess that's my question/rant to people going through much harder addictions than my self.

2021.10.19 04:34 TheyCallMeBerry Buyer messaged the wrong seller
Woke up Monday morning to a completely random message from a buyer I had never had an interaction with. Everything went down hill very fast.
He apologized but also disrespected me in the same sentence. I don’t believe I’m in the wrong at all and I should of stopped replying to him but it’s hard trying not to stand up for myself. Posting conversation in the comment section.

2021.10.19 04:34 BuyBABA A Brief Look at the Different Sectors of the Economy and How to Incorporate Them Into Your Investment Style.
An Overview of The Different Sectors Modern economics breaks the economy into 4 different types of activates which are as follows;
Primary Sector: Focused on the extraction and processing of natural goods, very inefficient when it comes to growth and profit generation and seen more in less developed countries (Gold Miners, Silver Miners etc.)
Secondary Sector: Made up of the processing of the Primary Sector goods into manufactured products, more efficient at growth and profit generation and generally more stable (Coca-Cola, Steel Manufactures etc.)
Tertiary Sector: Comprised of using those products from the Secondary Sector to produce exclusively services, much more efficient and growth and profit generation and in my opinion a sweet spot for all investors to be looking (Shipping side of Amazon, Hotels, Transformation etc.)
Quaternary Sector: An improved subsection of the Tertiary Sector focusing only on information based services, highly efficient at growth and profit generation but also very risky if the wrong company is chosen. (Information Tech, R&D companies like early stage Biotechnology, Consultancy)
How Do You Use This Information? In a few words; if you're looking for long term gains and want to put time and effort into researching your holdings, focus only on Tertiary and Quaternary sectors. While more volatile than the prior two, these sectors of the economy have much higher growth potential and lower overhead than other sectors which leaves them a prime opportunity to invest if you're willing to put some time in.
Now in these sectors, the product and more importantly the leadership is the main drive for value creation and should be put above everything else in the company just below imminent bankruptcy.
Qualities to Follow in Leadership First and foremost, sometimes leadership is a matter of feel and these types of companies do take a lot of interpretation and intuition to value and putting a single number on their future value is next to impossible. But we can get a pretty good idea for a company's "value" going forward by looking at the capabilities of leadership. Here's a few qualities I look for:
Tenure and Experience in Both the Company and Their Given Niche - This one should be self explanatory but the head honcho should understand the product in and out and be able to build on existing products in the market. As a note NOT ALL OF LEADERSHIP NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THE PRODUCT. Just the CEO or President in charge of daily operations should understand it, but it's always a plus when all levels of the hierarchy understand what's going on.
Look For the Innovator-Integrator Dynamic - While hard to find at times, the integrator innovator dynamic is my main focus when valuing leadership. The CEO should be innovative, not bogged down by financial jargon and limitations of their own profession. Their ideas should be weird and unconventional since if you have enough ideas out there by someone who isn't aware of the limitations, you'll eventually end up striking gold. The integrator should extensive experience in business management and at the very least should have an MBA under their belt. Look for someone who has been/is the COO, board member, or even CEO of multiple other companies and has experience in working with the innovative types more often seen in smaller companies.
On Multiple Boards or Chief Executive Positions in Other Companies in a Similar or the Same Industry - With expertise follows a long list of experience and lessons learned from mistakes. More pertaining to the integrator, they should lots of other Golden Collar positions on other companies in the same or similar industry to have them take lessoned learned from those previous ventures and integrate them into your chosen company.
A Small Side-note You should have at least a broad and general understanding of the product they provide and future products in their pipeline.
No joke, go in and purchase their service if at all possible and give it a spin! It'll save you a lot of money long term knowing the product of your company is highly quality and value condense.
Tl;Dr Information technology and service based companies are a very profitable run for your money if you're willing to base your decisions off leadership and the product more than quantitative analysis of the company and put some time in to really understand your holdings.

2021.10.19 04:34 Zachattack316 How do I go about being a more outgoing and social person?
A little preface, I have had depression since middle school (now 18, freshman in college), although that's mostly past me now. During that span, I kind of missed out on social experiences and the like that most people have. As a result, I don't have much in the way of friends.
Now, I don't think I have trouble while in a social situation, I can keep a conversation and engage with the person/people, but the problem is actually getting into such a situation. At my job, I'm friendly with my coworkers, though I don't talk to them outside of work. I haven't had anyone who I truly consider a friend in like 6 years or so, I have a few people I would call acquaintances, and may occasionally talk to over social media, but not in person. How should I go about just being with people and making friends?

2021.10.19 04:34 GrapeBonbon Yes you dominate my life, you dominate every decision we make, you even dominate me during sex.
But every night when I stand in front of the bed watching you sleep, grabbing the needle in my hand, contemplating that ending your life would merely take a simple wish of mine, I never fail to gain my full sense of control back.
